The beds were clean and comfortable and that was only thing I liked about this place. The bathroom was gross and the tv reception is lost constantly and they have no cable so you will be bored with no tv. The only reason somebody should stay here is if you want to save by cooking your own food they do have a stove

I don’t recommend this. The bedsheets are not that clean u can see how the curtains was still dirty, the photos in website were DIFFERENT in person. I feel not safe also walking at night in the hallway. If you asked sonething liked towels they never give us those things. I DONT RECOMMEND.

The location is in a cut where it's kind of secluded which is nice for peace and quiet and kind of being away from everything but very convenient to 41 where you can just jump on and off the highway. It does have a somewhat full size refrigerator, stove top and small sink. That is very convenient. However, the AC and heating units look ramshacked. The runes look like each one had a crime scene in it... We had a change from run room to another because the first one didn't have a mirror in it amongst other reasons, but the no mirror was a little creepy. Second room however was much better. It did have a mirror and everything worked even though the air conditioning unit screamed when you turned it on and utilized it. Not a horrible place to go but not the best. Definitely somewhere in the middle as long as you're not super picky.

NOT A Traditional Hotel

To be clear, this is NOT a traditional hotel. It is an extended stay studio apartment style property. The front desk closes at 7:00 pm and is closed on Sunday. The manager was very nice and accommodating. This is a good place to sleep and take advantage of its proximity ti the Metra train station that gets yo cheaply into Chicago. Nothing is a safe walking distance from the place. Nearest restaurants and convenience stores are a mile away. Bed was comfortable. TV had about 30 standard cable and local channels. Nice fridge and microwave. There's a cooktop if you bring your own pots, pans, and utensils to use. So, NOT a traditional hotel, but a good place to rest after a day of sightseeing and enjoying Lake Michigan.

My room was the second floor, Corner room. Very accessible to and from my room. Friendly staff, and Hospitality. Great Parking, Easy Chrck in and Check out. Still waiting for my $50. Deposit. When I first got there they told me they over booked. I waited in the waiting room while they tried to fix an AC unit in a unit that was not taken! Very dirty inside and outside, half scared to take a shower.

This property is horrible. We were put in a room that had dead beetles all over the floor. Went to the front desk and he changed our room. Ok great until we had to use the bathroom. The flushed was rusted and broken off. When I brought this to the front desks attention he came and looked at it and wanted us to take the back of the toilet off and stick our hand in there and flush it manually. Sorry but after paying 130 for a room plus 100 deposit, I want to be able to flush the toilet normally. Dont think im being unreasonable. So then the owner says he will get a new piece and change it out. An hour and a half later he came back with 2 people, 1 of who was a friend of a guest at the hotel, to fix the toilet. The toilet was finally fixed around 1 am. We didnt even stay in the room, because we were just through and disgusted at that point. Not to mention the questionable people hanging around the property.

Do not recommend staying here. Black mold on the ceiling and bathroom, no vending machines, tv had no cable, terrible place and was definitely not worth wasting money at. It’s surrounded by warehouses and the highway.
