"The hotel was quite a disappointment. We were there as a couple and had booked all-inclusive. However, at check-in we had to pay over €150 extra for a club membership, which we didn't know what it was for. Included in the all inclusive package was the food, which was more or less the same every day and only water and wine from a tap to drink. We drank from plastic glasses. "Nice place, good airco, in the old town close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was sad (pre-packed toast, butter and jam). The city of Taranto is not very nice, a lot of boarded up homes, streets at dirt etc. There is not much to do. I thought the price of the room was high considering that city."

"We really loved our stay here - not sure why the reviews are so bad. The farmhouse has been renovated and is gorgeous - you have a bedroom with another bed on a mezzanine for the kids. The rooms are clean and have aircon (thank goodness... it was 35 degrees :-)) There's parking right in front of your room and a big pool and pool area to use - if I understand correctly there is a small charge to use the pool but we were out every day until late so it didnt apply.
