"Let me start off by saying this was a charming property with great amenities and a comfy bed. The area is cute and filled with historic and newly-refurbished tulli, the quaint gnome-like structures the region is famous for. This property is located on a series of truly narrow, winding and confusing streets - even for walkers. We arrived in a car and man, poor choice on our part. "The room and the bathroom are very spacious and clean. There's a mini fridge, a coffee machine and a microwave so you also have the opportunity to have breakfast in the room. The owners were very kind and helpful. It's located near the train station, only 4 minutes by foot, so it's perfect for those who travel. The price is also really affordable. "Well, Franco is what really makes the stay. He gives all sorts of tips and advice for what to visit and where to go and even books restaurants for you. That being said the masseria is a bit in the middle of nowhere. The dog Diana is the highlight of the stay. She is always there to welcome you when you return to the property. "Otranto was one of our favorite cities in Salento. Amazing location walking distance to the main sights, incredible apartment with terrace facing the ocean. The staff was incredibly helpful, Sergio and Caterina helped us with restaurant reservations and luggage transport. Breakfast was not included. The welcoming bottle of sparking wine was a great touch. Parking was easy to find with the instructions provided, but an extra fee. Communication was prompt and the staff was welcoming. Grazie...
