"The Gite du Capitaine is in a small village in the countryside. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast and dinner provided was good. The room and facilities were excellent. The house is rustic and full of antique furniture in great condition. "

"I love the quirkiness of this hotel which is also a bar & a tabac. It’s typically local French establishment with no pretensions. The dinner & breakfast is of a good standard & satisfying. The bedrooms are clean & somewhat eccentric, so it helps if you have a sense of humour. It’s right on the D393 which is a fantastic biking road between Bar sur Aube & Dijon. I use it at least twice a year, so will be back soon. "

"This hotel makes an excellent overnight stop on the journey to Calais. It’s fairly basic, but clean, comfortable and with the Campanile right next door, there’s easy access to a restaurant. "

Les propriétaires n’emploient pas assez d’employés pour gérer un hôtel de cet envergure. Douche sans rideau ce qui mouille toute la salle de bain, trace de chaussures dans notre chambre, piscine pas propre, verres sales (en plastique), serviettes qui sentent mauvais, pas de volet. "It was very quiet when we stayed, but was absolutely lovey. I stayed with my three young children, and the staff that were on were very helpful. After a long drive from Provence, they were very attentive and sourced me a very important wine glass for my bottle I brought with me! :-) "
