"Lovely hotel in an old country mansion. Beautiful grounds. Very helpful staff able to assist in booking tours. Quiet location 15 min walk into town and slightly closer to train station. Our room was small, but nice. Comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant was really delicious. "

"This is a lovely place to stay and the host was gracious and went out of his way to help in every way possible. I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. There is a nice seating area in the open fronted barn, which is perfect for a quiet drink. The room was terrific. Spacious, immaculate and with everything I needed. The decor is eclectic and fanciful, the bed was comfy, and the views are so pretty. The food is delicious. I hesitate to say too much for fear there won’t be a place for me!! "
