"Wonderful stay at Andenes del Inca, and staff who made us feel like family. Our room was large and clean. The breakfast was simple but comparable to other similar hotels in Peru. The breakfast area had hammocks, a view of the Ollantaytambo ruins, and a lovely hotel kitty. "

"The location is perfect and we enjoyed the views and the sound of the river just out our window. Service was mediocre: We communicated in advance to have a hair dryer and water kettle for coffee, and cream/milk. None was in the room. We had to remind them and even go down to the reception desk late at night. We left early the next morning and had made arrangements in advance for breakfast to go. When we came down at the pre-planned time, nothing was ready. The receptionist went to the kitchen to make it. It took a long time and we almost left without it because we had a train to catch."

"Good: nice breakfast/restaurant, proximity to the train station Could be better: bedding had a black stain, you get woken up by birds at 4am, the train also choo-choos regularly (whatever room even facing the gardens, you WILL hear it) For the price, not worth it I think."

"First and foremost, the staff here are so extremely sweet! There are about a million stairs to climb in order to get from the street to the hotel, so be prepared for that. There is no elevator, but the staff take your bags up to your room for you. They have a lovely breakfast buffet and there is always a full container of drinking water in the lobby to fill water bottles. The staff sometimes use a translation app to help communicate, but we had no problem at all. They arranged transportation (a tuk tuk) for us to get to the train station, which was a fun experience and only cost s/10. The property is clean and met our needs perfectly. It's just a short walk to the square or other shops and dining options. They are so welcoming and genuine and really made our first impression of Peru special."

"Fantastic staff, location and room. We overlooked the ruins. Staff carried our bags to our room and were super friendly. Room was clean and had a ver comfortable bed and pillows. We were a min walk from everything. Highly recommend. Dawn"
