"Room was clean enough, good not get a comfortable temperature, we were frozen. Took forever to get into our room. Past the normal check in time. Booked a ADA room. Was not ADA, very tight for wheelchair. Could not use toilet, had to go to an accessible bathroom in airport. Considering all that and we only had use of room for 6 hours. It was very expensive "

"We were able to find parking miraculously, but we arrived early. The room was really nice and clean and quiet enough. However the neighborhood, walking to find a place to eat, was so gross with garbage on the ground. I wanted to clean off my shoes. Unless you can afford old town prices, there are compromises. "

"There were no windows at all in the room, which I had not understood from the listing. The main door from the outside green beans locked while you were inside and you need to use the key to get out. Between the lack of windows and the locking in, it does not feel like a safe place to stay in case of fire or some other emergency. I would not stay here again because of that."

From the moment we arrived, Ricardo made us feel incredibly welcome. He was always around the property, working hard to keep everything running smoothly and making sure guests were comfortable. His wife, Gloria, was also wonderful—she prepared fresh breakfast every morning, and it was always delicious. One of the things we loved most about this place is how tucked away it is. It’s far from the busy city areas, which makes the experience feel unique and authentic. Even the drive there feels like you’re stepping into a different side of Puerto Rico. The property itself is beautiful, and you can really see how much care Ricardo puts into maintaining it. If I could give one tip to future guests, it would be to rent a car if possible. If you stay out late in San Juan or other areas, it can be very difficult to get a Lyft or Uber to drive up to the property, as many drivers decline the trip. Ricardo is very kind and willing to help, but since it’s a small family running the hotel, we didn’t want to bother him late at night. The only small thing we noticed was that some of the tiles could be a little slippery, especially since it rained quite a bit during our stay. Other than that, everything was fantastic.
