We enjoyed our stay very much. We enjoyed the conversations we had with our hosts, Esther and Ian, both of whom when out of their way to welcome us and help us. We especially enjoyed walking from the B&B to Threave Castle and exploring the nature preserve. We were traveling without a car and had no problem getting to the property by bus.

Haven B&B

I had a wonderful stay in January of this year and it was absolutely fantastic. Esther and Ian made feel very welcome and like part of the family. I was well fed and the room and its facilities are very clean. I will stay again in the future and can highly recommend it.

This reservation was only partially completed. Left quietly. One small bedroom with a macerating toilet. Personal space minimal and expectations of hosts seemed family-like. Not a comfortable situation for me.

Very welcoming, accommodating and friendly hosts. The house sits in a very picturesque setting on the riverside. The weather was fine during our stay and we were fortunate enough to enjoy a lovely breakfast al fresco.
