The internet signal is not very good, so if you're counting on working during your holidays, I would take that into account. There is internet, it's just somewhat unstable. "La Riviera is beautiful and clean inside and out. The breakfast was delicious and their coffee was one of the best we had in Costa Rica! There is a nice strip mall directly across the street that has a grocery store, hair salon, dry cleaner and bookstore. Staff is very friendly- I would highly recommend!"

"I'm a native English speaker, but some of the hotel staff spoke limited English. I tried to learn as much as I could before my trip, and it was really helpful! I was able to communicate a bit with the staff. Everyone was friendly and took good care of my wife and me. "Hotel owners, both husband and wife and their staff were really helpful and friendly. Property is really well maintained with diverse flowering plants and villa room we stayed in is very spacious and clean. Even though it is still the wet season, temperature was really pleasant and A/C wasn’t needed to sleep well. Very peaceful environment and walking distance to town square. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to getaway and relax."
