"Lovely accommodation attached to a pub. Pub served a good selection of drinks and a decent menu for main meals or light bites. Breakfast was lovely, again with a decent selection. Staff were all lovely. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. "
"Loved the fact that there was a microwave and restaurant across the road.
Staff were so kind, kept my daughters non dairy milk in the fridge and at breakfast even rinsed her bowl out for us.

Room was perfect for my needs. Slept well. Room clean and bed comfy. It surprised me how quiet it was at night.
Took Winnie on her dog walk out of the grounds and wandered to see Chasewater.
I have no hesitation in recommending staying here. "
"Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal.

"Great overnight stay at The George Hotel which is centrally located in the city and within walking distance of all the shops and attractions. Room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Staff welcoming and helpful and would recommend to others and return if staying in the area again"
"Thought this hotel was great value for money. Had everything i needed for a good night's sleep. Fridge in the room was a bonus but also coffee making facilities tv, wifi, electricity points were all good. Room and shower room were clean All staff at reception and elsewhere were courteous, knowledge and helpful.
Woukd recommend as a budget hotel at a great price (I onky paid £43 for a Saturday night)"
