"The Sanctuary Lodge is a gem in the entrance of Machu Picchu. Every staff member we met was exceptionally warm, treating us like their family. "Hotel Luz Garden was such a joy! It is just minutes away from the Aguas Calientes train station (ex. Local, Inka Rail, Perú Rail) and also near Ministerio de Cultural office if you need to buy a last minute ticket to Macchu Picchu. The staff and hospitality at this hotel was AMAZING! It’s far far away from the airport, 2 hours ride in taxi and then 2 1/2 hours ride in train, there’s no cars allow in the town so you won’t be able to get there by car, you have to take the train like it or not .
