"Second stay and a whole much better. Breakfast excellent as ever, room facilities were in good condition, including a working fridge except for a broken window handle. Still couldn't turn the radiator off, so too hot and the Spa could be more accessible with priority given to staying guests."

Didn't take breakfast - in too much of a hurry each morning. Did use the Bistro within the hotel (but run independently) and that was good value. "Owner was rude before we even got to the property (sent me a video telling me she was fed up of lazy people and came across very aggressive). When we arrived at the property it was in poor condition. There was black mold in the bedrooms, missing paint on the walls which were barely covered by paintings. It said it could sleep 12 people but it barely fit 8 of us. There was a limit on the time we could go into the garden and use the hot tub. Also there was a camera pointed directly at the hottub...

"The cottage slept 5 and while missing enough cutlery crockery and glasses for more than 2 people, we found it set up exceptionally well. The fixtures and fittings were all brand new, including beds, tables, chairs, flooring, mirrors, bedsides, cabinets and wardrobes, it really was very comfortable apart from the sofa bed that we felt was a bit old and worn in comparison to the rest of the cottage. The bathrooms (yes 2!) were absolutely beautiful, fab showers, marble finish and very high quality...
