The beach was beautiful and the staff was so wonderful. The food at the hotel was excellent. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy an quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay., We were only going to stay one night but ended up liking it so much we booked a second night with them.

Solo stay in November
Have not been to Burntlsand for near 20 years, the staff here made me feel right at home. I had a brilliant time, although the weather was awful, still it's autumn and Scotland so probably to be expected. But thanks to all the staff for making me feel welcome. Food was excellent especially the Scottish breakfast. Thank you all.

Very friendly staff. Food quality and choice was good. The rooms were clean but the walls in the room are very thin and the room and bathroom were snug. OK for a quick stopover.

This was a highlight of our trip. They were very accommodating, helped us find a taxi to EDI on short notice, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The food (dinner and breakfast) was outstanding and affordable. We'll be back to visit in the future.

The hotel is really good value for money and in an fantastic location right next to the beach. For business users breakfast doesn't start til 09:00 though, but they will make you up a packed lunch as an alternative.

Nice hotel
Hotel was great and next to the beach. Great location and only a short walk to town. Staff were lovely and very friendly, breakfast was great with lots of choices.

There were hairs and particles of dirt floating in the bath which took ages (when I tried to rinse them) to drain away due to the partially blocked drain. I didn’t feel that the bathroom was clean enough.

Location was excellent, staff were very attentive nothing was any bother, room was excellent for family. Food was excellent they have an extensive menu also daily specials also having playground on site helps too. Would definitely recommend this hotel a hidden gem.

Satisfactory for an purpose of our visit.
One night stopover. Room was comfortable but a little warmer than necessary. Although clean and tidy signage could be a little more noticeable. Didn't realise the train line was as close as it is however not really bothered by any traffic noise.

Room freezing even after getting the heating turned on could do with referb breakfast not served till 9am no good for business food was good charged for a cider I never had and a breakfast i didnt get nobody ay front desk till 8am staff were very good

Very sorry to hear your experience with us was less than enjoyable. Our hours of trade and service times are listed and available at the point of booking. We are more of a restaurant with rooms and trade from 9am until 8.30pm for food. It is not worth staffing from 7am for the odd customer that wants an early breakfast. We do however accommodate this when required, I'm sorry this never happened on your visit. Thank you for your custom and feedback

We stayed here for 3 nights on the way up to a family wedding further north. There were 3 generations of us, and the hotel catered well for all of us, with comfortable and homely rooms, an excellent restaurant and a welcoming bar. The breakfast choice and quality of food were particularly good. The staff were friendly and attentive when needed.

Food place/Bar with rooms. Good location. Good breakfast. Decent service. Room was quiet. My room number 1 was tidy but probably needs a re furb. If it was more modern then definitely worth the tariff. Overall enjoyed my stay.

Excellent food, great staff very helpful, and one of the best breakfast’s I’ve had in years. Also good parking and the best hotel location in the area. Will definitely be back.

L'hôtel est à deux pas d'une très belle plage avec vue sur Edimbourg. Peu de circulation devant l'hôtel qui est sur une route secondaire. Beau restaurant et coin brasserie au rez de chaussée.
