"Rooms were spotlessly clean. Great selection of food for breakfast but it was rather a muddle finding seats in dining area or lounge etc to eat. Staff very helpful after a mix up on check-in. I’d booked two rooms for us and friends but on arrival only their room was showing on the hotel system. Luckily I’d prepaid and had a receipt so a room found for us. No problem in the end. Couldn’t work out how, when I’d booked two rooms at the same time, one was missing."

"A very good hotel with very helpful desk staff. However, we had asked for twin beds and arrived to find them pushed together as one bed. Also the bedside tables were visibly dusty. The toilet needed to be flushed more than once to do its job."

"Lovely pool and fitness amenities, gym was well appointed but could be bigger. The rooms were glorious and comfy, though the bathrooms aren’t well thought out. The dining room was pretty woeful, not well maintained (grubby in places), and though the staff were mostly helpful and obliging, service leaves much to be desired and the food was ordinary at best, quality questionable and option were meagre."

"Clean, modern rooms, pleasant staff and good all round breakfast, although not right in the City centre which I prefer not to be anyway, only a 10 mins slow walk and you are in the City, One big negative though, having stayed in both Holiday Inns and Expresses many times, having to pay for parking, I appreciate the hotel prices being higher for Bath compared to other places but to charge for parking as well is going to put visitors and guests off staying at the Holiday Inn, myself included."
