"Staff excellent, we’ve only given a 3 star because the beds were so bad!! We only ate there once during our stay as it was very average and the choice poor. Luckily we only used it as a base. Also it should be called a Spa as it isn’t one"

"Staff were very friendly - nice check-in and we were given complimentary cocktails when I mentioned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Room amenities were good (comfy bed, good shower, and full suite of Sky channels). I really liked the renovated old prison vibe. "

"The room was not as we saw on the website, we didn’t have a garden view but a large wall, which made the room really dark, the carpet was stained, the breakfast was ok until my husband saw the chef put cereals spilt on the table back in the pots with the ones to be eaten , there was a big sign outside saying come and look at our refurbished rooms, we certainly didn’t get one "
