"Pros: clean, comfy bed, good pub restaurant and coffee on site, easy parking, fridge and microwave, nice river view, very friendly staff Cons: front desk/help is only open 9-5, our room keys needed recoding daily for some reason and since front office was closed by 5 it was a rigmarole trying to get the keys updated through the bar staff, the dock in the photos was locked shut so you couldn’t actually go on it, the ice machine room was locked all the time, air con didn’t work so room was...

"Breakfast was very nice. Well presented with courteous and professional staff. Room was spacious. Housekeeping was basic. Baseboards hasn't been cleaned in a decade. Exterior needs paint. The property needs some love. Although the interior is okay it could e great. Website mentioned some construction noise. It is constant from 7am for 12 hours. "

"Our family of 6 stayed in a very spacious 2 bedroom cabin. Everything that was needed to have breakfast before taking our 4 children exploring was provided in the kitchen. Cabin was clean and comfortable. The pub was super close so mom and dad were able to sneak off for a nightcap to end the day. We will definitely be back. The Boltons"

"What a beautiful little gem! Very quaint historical manor with lots of history. Rebecca the Innkeeper was so sweet. She made the stay that much more incredible. She is very kind, helpful and an amazing chef. Her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. She made us feel so at home. Will definitely return next yr.
