"The hotel and the staff were great. The only advise I would give staff is that when people check in to just inform them of how the lifts work (as you need to use your room card key to work them) and how to switch the air con on in the room (took us an hour to suss out we had to press a button on the top of the panel to turn it on). "A lovely, atmospheric place very conveniently located to the train station and other sites. Several nooks for curling up with a book if you desire. My room on the top floor was gorgeous and a decent size. Depending which room, you may have to navigate stairs, but that was no issue for me. "A great hotel in a good location"

"Great location with everything you needed. We stayed in the studio room which was plenty of room and clean. Only issue was the air con unit was difficult to turn off from the panel and soon realised there was a light switch by the bathroom (weird wiring) that turned it all off as the room was very cold to start with. Apart from this, it was perfect for a night’s stay. "
