"Clean and Big Room, polite staff, good air conditioning and nice Bar"

"We stayed in the deluxe sea view room with a balcony. The room was small but perfecty formed and the balcony overlooking the marina and sea was lovely and scenic. Its walking distance from Kemptown but if you want to go further the hotel is quite far out from town. Nevertheless we had a good stay and would consider staying again."

"With parking on site and a bus stop outside, this was a great place to stay and good value for money. The building is a little tired, but the staff are helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I would stay again as is very convenient for visiting Brighton."

"After checking in we found the air conditioning was not working, tried to call the front desk and phone was not working, nor was the TV. Had to walk back down to reception where we were told we were pre warned about the air conditioning ( we were not!!) and there was a fan in the room- there wasn’t. "A lovely stay in a grand old seafront building. A little rough around the edges where the building is showing its age but not in a particularly off putting way. Stylish decor in common areas, spacious family room for 3 of us. Amenities a little older and more basic (a fan instead of aircon, open rails instead of wardrobes, slightly older carpet with a few stains etc), but all clean and functional. Lovely breakfast with a beautiful view, and kind helpful staff."
