"This hotel was conveniently located for my conference. Overall the accommodation met my expectations. However, there are a couple of items that could be looked at. The first is to make the sign posting to the hotel entrance a bit more clearer. I accidentally entered the airport terminals pick up point. Secondly the charge for car parking at £25 is a little bit excessive in comparison to other establishments in the locality. I would consider staying here in future but without a vehicle. "

"Lovely room overlooking the canal, with a really comfortable bed and it was very quiet at the end of the corridor. The receptionist Carolyn went out of her way to make us feel welcome and check us in. Excellent service. I gave three stars for property condition because in the morning when we wanted to shower the hot/cold temperature knob was broken and it was stuck on boiling hot so we couldn’t have a shower. Otherwise a really pleasant hotel very near to Manchester City centre. "

"A spacious room with a very uncomfortable bed. A foam topper or nice mattress pad would do wonders. The amenities of the hotel were great. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was a bit inconvenient- we made a reservation for tea and were turned away upon arrival because the reservation wasn’t made 48 hours in advance. That was a disappointment. But the morning breakfast served was enjoyable. I understand that is provided by a different service. "

"Nice Hotel. Our bed in the family double room dipped in the middle which is great if you like sleeping cuddled up to your spouse. Air conditioning didn’t work even after we reported it so had to sleep with the windows open and heard a lot of noise which you’d expect from a busy city. Full English breakfast was amazing..5 star!"
