However, unlike most staff, the receptionist who checked us in didn't really show warm welcoming, she actually was a bit arrogant dictating orders rather than giving instructions. "We stayed 2 nights Saturday to Monday. We loved the indoor and outdoor pools for kids on Saturday but didn't like the water slide hours on Sundays 10am-2pm and during the week 4-9pm only. "
"Front lobby staff were excellent and very helpful on check-in, but had a rude experience with one front desk staff when asking for a late check-out, think the name was Karen and maybe a manager, who was very rude. She basically said "late check-out you pay" but when I went to the lobby to ask a young staff, she said "no problem take your time". We only checked-out late by about 15 minutes!
Otherwise the stay was comfortable, the room was big and quiet, the heating system worked well as did the WiFi. Parking was free, near a gas station and just off the highway so it was a good location for our transit stop in an 8 hour drive in the winter."
