"We were surprised by our experience at this Hilton Garden Inn, as it differed quite a bit from others we’ve stayed at. The lobby lounge area was very minimal, almost nonexistent, which was disappointing.
The rooftop lounge itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, each time we visited, loud explicit rap music was playing. The language—including repeated use of the N-word and other explicit content—was very noticeable and inappropriate for a family-friendly environment. We even have videos documenting this. It felt unprofessional and not suitable for guests with children.
We were also told that dining was available until 11 PM. However, when we returned later that evening, we were informed that children were not allowed to dine in that area past 8 PM. This was frustrating, especially given the earlier information. If there is a curfew for children, it would make more sense for the explicit music to be reserved for after that time.
Additionally, the beds were extremely firm—far below the comfort level we’ve come to expect from Hilton properties.
That said, the front desk staff were wonderful, and housekeeping was incredibly kind and accommodating. They were definitely the highlight of our stay."
