"Lovely welcome from the girl on reception. We had a king sized room on 3rd floor looking out to Cliffords tower. Room was clean and comfortable with a coffee maker which made amazing coffee. There is a large carpark across the road which is free midnight till 8 but expensive at orher times but on par with other parking in york. There is a park and ride stop close by. Breakfast was one of the best ive ever had in a hotel. All staff helpful and friendly. Close to shops and many restaurants. Ideal location "

"Our 2nd stay at The Jorvik. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean with an excellent shower. We chose not to have a breakfast tray as there are plenty of eating options nearby. The minibar was very well stocked. "

"This hotel has such a lovely homely and cosy vibe, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Room was extremely spacious and very comfy beds. Breakfast was additional £8 which we'd recomend. One of us was vegan and they had plenty on offer with porridge, dairy free milks, chocolate spread, sausages ect. "
