"The location of the hotel is excellent as it's close to the beach, but away from the sea front. Just a 10 minute walk away. The staff were really friendly and were helpful. The rooms were large but the decor is a little dated and there were a lot of stairs to the top floor. "I was in room one over looking boating lake. It had teas,coffees, glass spoon and cup. Hot water with bath and shower, plenty of fresh towels and floral gel soaps. Comfy bed. Staff helpful and explained about entry and times."

"Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again"
