"For the price I paid, admitted it was half price, but it was a fantastic stay. Newly decorated, bed was fantastic, great nights sleep. Didn't figure out the TV although I'm sure if I had asked for the password, it would have been easy enough, but wasn't a case of simply turn on an then the TV was up n running, but can't complain cos I didn't ask and was probably an easy fix. An cos I was on the top floor, facing the sea, fantastic views"

"Some rooms very dated and not like advertised! Staff very accommodating in moving me to a more updated room. The room was better but bathroom was poor in terms of the quality of shower etc. Very poor water pressure and it was impossible to get the shower temperature to a consistent one. Bedding and towels were clean and fresh and room was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was really good. Cannot fault the staff, all very friendly, appeared to enjoy their jobs and very helpful which is extremely refreshing these days!"

"Had a really lovely stay for two days as we were going to a couple of shows. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to eat and good variety of food. Some good bar foods available too. Clean room and bathroom, but could have done with some dusting on lamps and shelves. Staff were really good and helpful. We found the hotel charming and a real lovely old feel to it and the prices were reasonable. Thank you for a lovely stay."
