"The hotel is OK. The room was quite large. The property is having some construction done. There is no included breakfast in spite of Expedia saying it was included. The property manager said they've been trying to get that changes with Expedia for months with no luck. The location is a little sketchy, next to a liquor store with questionable clientele. Walking up to the hotel at night to check in was interesting as the door to the lobby is locked unless they open it for you. That didnt give me the feeling of being safe. While I didnt have a bad stay I wouldnt stay here again because I didnt like the location and I specifically wanted breakfast included. "

"One of my new favorite hotels. The views can’t be beat, the beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The front desk was so kind and helpful when I had a concern about the balcony we had, and quickly switched and upgraded our room. The robes, wine and flip flops were added bonuses. My only complaint is the pool and hot tub area was a mess when we went the first night. Dirty towels, cups, trash all around towards the end of the night It was a holiday weekend so hopefully it is not a common thing. Also the pool deck by the hot tub is incredibly slippery. I slipped twice and I saw at least 6 others go down in front of me in the span of a few hours. "

"The buidling was well kept. The outside had lush green plants and flowers that perfumed the area. Even though the hotel is near the freeway, you could not hear any noise. We pool and jacuzzi were in good condition. Our room was quite large. Everything was very clean and the bed was very cozy. Breakfast was great each morning and freshly prepared. The food wasnt just frozen warmed in a microwave. We saw them cooking eggs on the kitchen stove. All the breakfast items were fresh. The coffee was good. Everybody that we came across, working at Ayres was friendly. We will stay here again when we come to this area."

"staff was excellent did not check out buffet because my granddaughters eat very little and are vegetarian literally they would eat one pancake that’s it so it wasn’t worth us paying $15 for that however, the property needs a major updating. The pool area area was pretty nasty as far as the flooring the women’s bathroom light was not coming on the rooms were very small and I will never except a double bed again! there was no Refrigerator the ice machine was broken on the 4th floor, but I must say the staff at the front desk were very nice check-in went smoothly, and the bar area was very nice as well. Just the room rooms. Very small small. The toilet paper roll had an issue with it coming off and the tub was clogged. Water wasn’t draining properly."

"hotel was awesome, only problem we were shocked with was the price of parking at $55 a day . then anything like wifi , shops , snacks in hotel stores were outrageously overpriced. then they chafge $150 damage dposit per day along with hotel access fees etc . it was alot of fees . … but area was awesome . also th hotel doesnt sell wood for the fire pits . but they will start your fire with wood they provide for you on beach for $250 . stuff like that was a turn off . "

"I absolutely loved my spacious apartment room. The layout is perfect, nice bathroom, great kitchen, living room area with large built-in desk overlooking a large window, good closet. Easy convenient parking. The laundry facility was a short walk away in the center of the complex pool/BBQ/garden area and was easy to use (bring your own detergent). I stayed 10 nights and loved it. I did not use the pool, gym, or included breakfast."

"Don’t judge a book by its cover! The outside of the hotel looks rundown, and also the lobby… but the room itself was very clean and very comfortable and very spacious! I would definitely stay here again!"
