"Room was spotless, staff mostly very friendly and helpful. Pool area was the crowning glory - clean and modern. Only negative was no plug sockets near the bedside for phone charging. Will def stay again and recommend to friends and family."

"I was pleasantly surprised by everything at the Golden club hotel. I'd been slightly worried by some reviews before we arrived but i can honestly say our stay in August was excellent. It's a great 3 star hotel. "Beautiful hotel for the price … large supermarket 2 minutes away was handy with refrigerator in room. 3 minutes to riverwalk, with shops, restaurants & beach ferry. TV’s are a little small for the size of the room and digital reception was poor. Stayed 6 nights and would stay again."
