"Magazine-perfect boutique hotel with exceptional service. Every staff member greets you with a sincere bow and genuine warmth. The Asian tasting menu and authentic Khmer breakfasts (Kuy Teav, Num Banh Chok) were outstanding. They surprised us on our 27th anniversary with a handwritten, hand-illustrated card — pure magic. Huge thanks to Anna, our wonderful butler, and the entire team. Sad to leave. Highly recommend. The experience was spectacular and outstanding. If I had to choose a But…. This would be: The only recommendation I have is that the gym needs an upgrade. One day we were 6 people and it felt like a sardine tin."

"This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of character enriched by wooden floors and excellent set of wooden furniture. Rooms are of generous size and beautifully decorated. The only aspect that needs improving is the bathroom which looks a little dated. It has a long swimming pool, very friendly staff, variety of fresh foods at breakfast buffet and an ever helpful front desk. Overall, our 3 day stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Will definitely stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at FCC Angkor by Avani and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap, especially families. The hotel is beautifully designed — a tasteful boutique property with elegant rooms, lovely decor, and a very peaceful atmosphere. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The location is perfect: right along the river, walking distance to the Royal Gardens and close to Pub Street, while also being very convenient for Angkor Wat sunrise tours. One of the things we loved most was the hospitality. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and they made traveling with our 5-year-old very comfortable. The hotel is also very family-friendly, with a kids club and swimming pool life jackets available for children, which gave us extra peace of mind. The food quality was exceptional throughout our stay, and the spa experience was absolutely lovely after long sightseeing days. The hotel also adds thoughtful cultural touches that make the stay feel special — we especially enjoyed the traditional Apsara dance performance on Saturday evening and the gin tasting session on Friday night. Overall, FCC Angkor by Avani strikes the perfect balance between luxury, culture, comfort, and location. It truly added to the magic of our Cambodia trip."

"There’s not much to say, other than that this place was perfect. The attention to detail was amazing. I looked for flaws too, and found none. The staff and manager were excellent. Very attentive. I only stayed here one night a week ago, but I would loved for it to be longer. This is a 100 year old hotel that is maintained to perfection."

"The hotel and amenities were adequate. Good safe location. The price matched the quality. We had 3 rooms and the AC in two of the rooms was very weak especially in the heat of April. The pool is fully exposed to the sun so the water was never cool and refreshing. The staff were helpful and the breakfast included with the room was very basic but adequate. The rooms were clean and they replaced your towels every day."
