We had a great stay at the Belmar inn. The staff was amazing and so friendly! They were so accommodating and made the trip. The location is also unbeatable less than a block from the beach! Will be coming back for sure.

I can see how this hotel would be amazing during the summer months. Very close to the beach, amazing location. Walkable to restaurants. Parking was ok because I was visiting in October but summer months I can see being difficult. There is an odor in the hotel, maybe a cleaner in the lobby? Unable to lift blinds to look out windows. A/c very old, black mold in vents. Someone on the floor cooked something at 3am and it stunk up the whole floor for hours, ventilation not good. Shower clean, bed ok enough.

We prepaid for our vacation and left upon arrival. The hotel room and bathroom were old and small. Beds were saggy and uncomfortable. You can hear all noises in the hallway. Hotel Is near a nice beach but should be demolished.

Older rooms, but they are clean...the one drawback was parking...I had to park 5 blocks away , granted summer at the beach is crowded but no onsite parking is an issue. Lynn was great checking in and out, very helpful!

Would not recommend this property for anyone. Noise can be heard all night. No water pressure. Can’t even bend over to wash your feet in the shower. It’s just old and run down. Only convenient thing is it’s close to the beach.

Location~ Awesome! Our room was small, just the bed, dresser and table with fridge on it. Not anything to set stuff on or a place to sit and eat. We made it work though! We were not in the room very long. Bring a small folding table or something when you come? Staff was fantastic, very helpful. Beaches and boardwalk were great too.

The Belmar Inn is tucked away on a side street and 4 houses from the beach. The front porch is relaxing and the front desk staff were very kind. The rooms are not glorious but for the price, the beds are comfortable, the room is clean and the place is right on top of the beach. The beach is 3 min walk and under 14 is free. Adults are $12. There is a rest room right there on the beach and a shower and a Jersey Mike Subs Also a playa bowls. For dinner we uber in to Asbury park to a place called Porta- great pizza and pasta (Make reservation the day before- they do not take reservations the day of). $100 for 6 of us for pizza and pasta. Also walking distance to the boardwalk where you can get amazing ice cream! Enjoy all :)

The only thing good was its in walking distance to the beach. Out of 3 days, 2 days the room keys did not work. The first night the girl gave us 2 different keys then we were never told someone would help us. Was sitting outside on the porch and we see the girl drive away? Wow what customer service. We had to find someone at the desk counter to come help us again, this was at 11pm. The 2nd night the keys did not work again, we got another set of keys, thank god that wasn’t as long a waiting time as the first night. Other patrons also had the same problem with keys. The room floor was slanted? Felt like I was still on the boat. Not only that when I pulled up my receipt to show the front desk person I see since I booked it a month ago the price went down $69. If I knew that I would have booked at the last minute. I asked if I could get it adjusted they said no. No?? Terrible!
