"A very convenient and comfortable base for our six-day exploration of the Périgord Noir region. Free parking. An easy walk into Sarlat old town. Breakfast was generous, sometimes we skipped lunch later. Quite a few restaurants and cafes nearby. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, if that is important to you. "Chateau De Maraval was just the castle experience we wanted from the medieval region from France. We were on a girl's trip and were provided two rooms that were beautifully furnished and stocked up. All the interiors was tastefully done. Outside of the castle is medieval but the rooms were with modern amenities. It was like living the best of two worlds. The property is well maintained. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had an amazing time. We definitely would recommend this for families...
