The website says air-conditioned rooms but staff informed they are air cooled.The first night was very sweaty & uncomfortable to get sleep. The location is a reasonable distance from the busy city of Porto over the river, while still being very accessible on the Gaia side, near the port wine cellars. We booked a studio room overlooking the Douro River with a stunning balcony view of the Luís I Bridge that we had to see to believe. "Practical position to access Porto Town. Plenty buses if you didn’t want to walk. Suite was very well proportioned, clean, comfortable bed and good quality to, coffee machine, kettle etc. We had breakfast 2 mornings and it was delicious, croissants, bread, meat, cheese, jam, yogurt, fruit, orange juice and coffee.
