"The location is perfect for a quiet relaxing vacation. The property is amazing. Rooms very spacious, and the balcony views incredible. Loved the free shuttle to the beach and into town. The manager at Castleview restaurant was warm professional, friendly and an asset to Wyndham Grand. Brandon you made our stay wonderful. ( we had brunch 2x at Castle view and dinner) The servers / attendat the pool bar were always attentive and friendly. Javon who was our server a number of times was always friendly with a smile. The washrooms on the property I MUST say was ALWAYS clean and inviting. ( And I have been to alot of resorts) The buffet I liked all the options presented no complaints there. And yes EVERY night it was something different for dinner contrary to other reviews. Pool area very clean, Only downside is PLEASE have hanging fly catchers or herbal plant deterrent to eliminate or minimize flies around the food area. We had a great time and will definitely be back. "This place is amazing and a true gem. Not only is the architecture impressive but the way it blends with the sea is perfection. The Crane has a small town feel to it; you don’t have to leave the property for dinner, shopping, drinks or music."

"Rooms were nice and staff was friendly. Property was fine. They are definitely on vacation time as meals are slow (2+ hours for a meal). The restaurants leave a bit to be desired. Poesia was not great at all - probably the worst meal in our party we had in the whole island and the worst Italian. The place is new but the chef is trying to be too creative with limited access to ingredients. A few people had a shrimp dish with tomatoes and no-one had tomatoes in it. Azure is okay - mediocre. If you want good meals, you have to go off the Crane property to restaurants along the coast."

"I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. I had to advocate for myself and explain that I had a valid confirmation number and nowhere else to go. To her credit, she ultimately found a solution — another couple who had also booked that day agreed to share their two-bedroom unit with me, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience left me uneasy. When I asked for a glass of tap water, I was told she didn’t have any and was offered a bottle of water for $2. I explained I was running low on cash since I hadn’t planned to still be in Barbados. She eventually did give me a bottle of water, but the fact that her first instinct was to charge a stranded traveler for water was off-putting. Everything worked out in the end, but the process was stressful and unwelcoming. If you’re booking here, just know that there may be a disconnect between what the booking system reflects and actual availability — and that the hospitality experience may be inconsistent. Future travelers should keep that in mind. "

"We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us. We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made. It was comfortable, the pullout divan was stained and not comfortable, those things typically are not. The place had not been cleaned and there was no handsoap and little toilet paper. The outside area was very nice, the inside area is like a very rustic old north american cottage. Very old gas stove and minimal dishes and cutlery. It is in the countryside, so quiet but on well water, so we went with bottled. The property is fully gated, including windows, doors, driveway. Taxi service is no problem."
