"This was adequate for our last one-night hotel stay in Italy, but the hotel was hard to find, requiring a very discomfiting drive down narrow one-way streets with graffiti on walls and gates. The room’s a/c didn’t work, and we couldn’t open windows because of noise and absent screens. Both my husband and I fell on the step in the middle of the bathroom. Staff was attentive, and maybe we could have gotten a different room, but we were too tired and stressed to bother."

"The staff were so accommodating and helpful. Especially patient and kind to my daughter and granddaughter at check-in when I was unable to arrive until much later. Communication between us and the hosts were timely and supportive. The staff who changed the towels and bins was also very pleasant and patient. The apartment was even nicer than anticipated and beautifully clean. The air conditioning worked well and was simple to figure out. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in...

"Staying at Il Villino was an excellent experience. Barbara and her family/staff operate a lovely bed and breakfast that is like an oasis in the middle of a very busy city. Our room was maintained impeccably . We had a view of the Duomo from our window. The breakfasts were amazing - including bacon, eggs, croissants, cheese, pastries, fruits, cakes and Canadian like coffee. The main floor offers an authentic and beautiful Italian courtyard where you can have breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine...

"Property was very nice and inan excellent location. Very easy to find an easy entry. The rooms were very clean and well looked after and looked like they had had a Reno. we would definitely stay there again. Our only comment would be the initial entry is very Sketchy looking and not very clean. Once you get up to the floors of the hotel, it is fine."

"The property was very nice and well located near a lot of things. The staff were very nice and helpful but only available between 8am-9pm. There are air conditioners in the rooms to regulate the temperature. There is only an elevator to the second floor so if you have movement problems or very heavy luggage it’s probably not very ideal but very wonderful property would stay here again."

Un perfecto lugar incluso para una estancia larga en la bella Florencia. La única sugerencia para hacer este lugar inmejorable, es hacer el baño de la recámara principal más funcional en el área de la regadera porque al tener un cristal tan pequeño se moja todo el baño, y es imposible evitarlo. Fuera de eso, excelente relación...
