Overnight stay in Banbridge

I chose this hotel as I was travelling back from Belfast and wanted to be in the area for the Game of Thrones Experience. It was ideally located and very reasonable including breakfast. Room was very spacious for a single. I'd recommend.

Over the top service

We only booked one night as we didn’t know how long we needed to stay due to a family situation. The hotel kept our room open whether we used it or not and only charge for the days we are here at discounted rates. All staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and hugely empathetic.

The hotel was fine, the room was reasonably clean. The mattresses on the bed could do with been changed. The staff were very friendly. The room was big. There was a lot of noise at nightime from the other guests as they passed the room.

Very happy

It was for the purpose of getting a nights sleep before a long return journey and it was perfect. We didn’t need a pool or anything just a good nights sleep and a breakfast and it provided both perfectly. Very happy.

Nice staff, rooms are getting tired and are in need of refurbishment. The corridors have been freshly painted, so they may well be in the process of refurbishment. Busy restraunt, although no issues getting a seat. Food is very nice and well presented.

Pros: plenty parking, easy to find, good food. Cons: very uncomfortable bed, 2 single beds pushed together doesn't make a king size, small tv, spiders in room, poor decor, fixed head shower / straight curtain pole does not make for a good shower experience, small thin towels, basic in-room facilities, stains on walls / ripped carpets in hallway, dated and very cheap cutlery in restaurant and no WiFi for the duration of my stay. Not a place I'll book again, sorry.

It was very cold and our room had no heating, they did supply us with a heater which promptly broke down, they did very kindly offer us dinner on the house, which we accepted. The hotel itself is a little tired and although it has been partially upgraded it still needs a lot of refurbishing to bring it up to an acceptable standard.

Wi-Fi was terrible, couldn't get any work done and there was one particualr person on reception who wasn't helpful whatsoever, but there was a lovely gentleman who made up for it and went above and beyond. The room was huge - brilliant!
