"Very friendly pub/inn. The food ( dinner and breakfast), was tasty and a good choice. The bar was busy in the evening, as was the restaurant, so it is clearly a popular venue. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had been recently refurbished to a really good standard and was super clean. The team were super friendly and helpful. Parking out the back was very handy. Definitely worth a look if you’re wanting somewhere within easy reach of Dublin and the coast. Recommended 👍👍"

"The spa was marvelous. My husband and I spent nearly 2 hours moving from steam room, to pool, to sauna, to pool, to hot tub, to heated lounge chairs. Complementary robes and non-slip shoes. Absolutely peaceful and relaxing. Just what we both needed after a fast-paced week exploring Ireland. We also dined at their on-site Italian restaurant La Taverna Armento. "Das Hotel und vor allem die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Leider war vor allem das Bad in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die Toilette selbst war sehr tief und der Sitz defekt. Die Dusche war an vielen Stellen schimmelig bzw. rostig. Jedes normale Hotel hätte solche Mängel selbstverständlich beseitigt, hier anscheinend nicht. Das Frühstück mit Blick auf den Golfplatz war das einzige Highlight. Essen und Service war gut."

"I found communication a bit slow and posted information on reception desk hours contradictory. I worked out--reception desk was open past 5pm for my 7:15 arrival but I was stressed the whole way from the airport and St George's Quay on foot that I would not make it. I tried to call but using the information presented me could not connect via my USA iPhone. Probably something stupid I was doing but perhaps look at that information and see if it is the best information for travelers from outside...

"This hotel is fine. The rooms are spacious. The free breakfast is quite grand and the food is decent, my only complaint would be the coffee, it was really watery. This is a no-frills stay that is fine for travelers, and the rates are reasonable."

"Although the rooms were nice and spacious, as an older couple it was difficult for us with the bar Party going in until 2:30 am. They were gracious to give us earplugs. The young folks really love it. It’s directly across from the beach. A train comes into Bray, so if you know how to use trains you could probably come there from the airport by train."
