"There has been a lot of investment in the hotel over the years & most of it very effectively invested. As in so many hotels we found the continuing use of a heavy duvet in a warm summer something that we cannot understand. I spoiled our stay. Too hot to use & too cold to do without. We find the same problem in so many hotels. It shows little regard for the customer as management must surely know that "one size does NOT fit all" when it comes to the seasonal changes in night time...

"The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. "The breakfast was really good. Be prepared that there is no air conditioning. Even though the temperature outside was highs in the upper 60s, lower 70s, the room was really hot. There was a small fan provided, but we were still uncomfortable. Would not stay here again because of this."

I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste."
