We also loved the trails near the river, which added a beautiful nature element to the stay. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding. "This place is amazing at its core. Legacy of a beautifully crafted resort and on the edge of a stunning jungle. They could up a little the service at breakfast (I had to ask several times for cream and went some meals with no water poured) and stick to entrees that they excel at, the pastries and crossaints are not their forte. But the staff was nice. They also could do so much more in the way of wellness offerings and that would make this resort such a destination. I also recommend having drinking water more available for guests. "

"Beautiful sunset dinner view. Albert grabbed an extra table and set it out for us when all others were taken or reserved which made for a lovely family experience. The kids would have spent the whole day at the pool if we had let them."

"Location is very good - downtown is walking distance where lots of shops and fastfood/ restaurants are located. Starbucks is just across the hotel. It is along a busy road some traffic noise is understandable. Check in was excellent as we were helped and accommodated efficiently. I would say staff in general are friendly and hardworking. The pool was great and providing water bottle refilling machines in the lobby was nice. The only downside was that the room was a bit outdated. I would recommend it for one or two nights stay."

"The food and drink are amazing! It is a beautiful setting over looking the lake. They have their own farm on sight and we were able to visit the animals--including baby pigs and horse. Highly recommend!"

"The food is very fresh and they take great pride in quality ingredients in their food and drinks. Each is a masterpiece both is taste and presentation! The staff are all amazing and the property is very clean, except for the pools which gather leaves from the trees above, but I appreciate it’s impossible to avoid. The tubing and zipline are a must try offered on the property and the guided walk and yoga beautiful experience. The thermal river is unbelievably beautiful and warm like a hot tub and clear to the bottom. You have to experience it to believe it. Lots of walking and steps but all worth it! Nothing but relaxation and beauty at this resort. The rooms are very functional and private and it was amazing seeing monkeys and birds everywhere. I would stay here again!"
