"We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family."

"Stayed in room 1 and bed was too firm. The bathroom was mouldy and shower head and the drain in shower over filled with water. Bedroom was clean but could not get comfortable on such hard mattress. Spa was nice and food was really good in restaurant. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely - spacious and clean. The breakfast had everything you could want and there was ample serving tome for both early and late risers! Access to rooms was secure. I loved the way there was an additional lift down to the harbour level so you didn’t need to trek round! "Our stay at the Belgrave Sands Hotel was brilliant (as usual). Our rooms were spotless and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. There are not enough superlatives to do justice to this gem of a hotel"

"When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality."

"Lovely flat with a cracking view But...... Internet was lousy which meant the nice smart TV was unusable. Tried getting hold of the management but emails didn't get answered and telephone call centre was a contect centre who couldn't really help and promised a call back which didn't happen. "
