"The view of Seoraksan was amazing from my room! It was completely worth it. The room was warm in the winter, clean (brand new everything), and bed was very comfortable. I loved the ondol and double balcony doors to keep out cold air and traffic noise. The staff were very friendly, and they provided fresh towels and water every day without being asked. They did not have to do housekeeping every day and you can request the time when they do clean. It was nice to not be disturbed. The only thing was the hallway noise was very noticeable, but at night generally everyone was quiet. This hotel is the only tall building in the bus terminal area so the views again are amazing!"

"We were not able to check in even though we arrived at the hotel at 6 PM, we had to wait about an hour. It was rather frustrating since our room was a family suit, one of the largest one in the hotel. Cleaning service was neither good. I had to request a re cleaning."

"The first room that I was assigned to had terrible cigarette smell. I asked for a different room and I was given a new room. However , when it was time for me and my family to go to bed, we realized the pillows smelled the body odor of the precious occupants. I saw hairs everywhere on the bed and under the blanket. But we were too tired after the long day of hiking and trekking , and we ended up covering the beds with towels instead to cover up tvr odor. The next morning, when I checked out from the hotel , I informed the front desk personnel about the issue. Although the hotel is spacious and looks clean overall, I am surprised that the housekeepers don’t change the blankets and pillows for new guests. I would not recommend this place, considering I paid over 400 USD for one night stay."

"Convenient location 5 minute walk to Seoraksan Park entrance. Bus stop to Sokcho right in front of hotel. Warm room and they upgraded to room with two double beds with mountain view, much appreciated. However, room service non-existent. Neither of the 2 hotel restaurants were open for dinner. We ordered dinner but food was terrible and we had to go down and pick it up from front desk. Front desk staff not always at front desk and often didn’t answer phone. No coffee or tea in rooms. Dated decor is fine but problem is hotel needs upkeeping— in front of our room was water stains on walls and peeling wallpaper. No gym or pool on premises. Despite all of above, price reasonable and would stay here again due to convenience to park entrance. "
