"We had a nice warm welcome on arrival . Breakfast was pretty good served by a well mannered woman and it was freshly cooked . The room was clean bed was comfortable shower was powerful and hot. The only downside and this is not the ibis it’s the pub that’s in front Prince William it was pretty poor. "

"A high standard is operated at this hotel. I reported an issue the first night (outside the hotel’s control) & both the night porter & the team on reception the following day were incredibly supportive in resolving things. I will definitely use this chain again."

"Property was great, staff were friendly. I'd done online check-in so it was easy. My room was spacious, clean with a very modern bathroom and i love the fact theres a kettle in room. Bar in hotel was well stocked again friendly service and a great space to hang out as we worked out our plans for evening (i had colleague's staying in hotel). "Great hotel and everything about it is spot couldn’t put a hotel in a better place for amenities whether it’s a drink some food or a bit of shopping I never had the breakfast this time round as last time I was disappointed as there was no beans and no bacon but I’m sure it’s improved but generally apart from the breakfast the hotel I could not recommend more nice touches with the pringles and chocolate bar in the fridge "

"What a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour...
