"This property is exceptional, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, safe room, water provided every day, lovely staff, great food, we had beautiful breakfasts every morning of our 4 nights stay & dined in the restaurant 1 night, we had a room with a lovely view of the Severn, my only gripe is that the rooms are very warm, a fan was provided which helped a bit. "
"Being above an old pub, we did no know what to expect. We had a love room that was spotlessly clean, a very comfy bed and a smashing bathroom.
The staff were excellent as well."

"Lovely hosts - friendly and helpful. Bright, airy and very clean. Comfy bed. Loved the flapjack in the fridge! It was a very hot petiod in July - so did need fan on all night - and they had thought to have it on before we arrived. Parking space was a real bonus! "

"Comfortable room at very reasonable price including full breakfast, which was excellent. Convenient for city centre, cathedral and cricket (my reason for trip). I travelled by train so can't comment on parking. It's an old inn so rooms are not super-modern but have character. It was very warm until I had had the windows open overnight. A fan was provided but I was glad I missed the predicted heatwave a few days later. With windows open there was a degree of street noise, e.g. bin lorries early...

The only thing i didn't like was the check in information wasn't clear enough in advance. there was no one to speak to when I arrived and just check my e-mail to see their phone number or anything to contact them and found out that i just received an email telling how to enter the building. That e-mail should be in advance for clear instruction. "
"The pub was very welcoming and staff friendly and helpful. The food was of a high standard and cooked well. The room was clean and bright and had a little fridge in the wardrode which held fresh milk and bottled water. Coffee and biscuits topped up daily.

"We had a very pleasant stay at the Hadley Bowling Green Inn - a great welcome, good dinner and breakfast, quiet room. We were surprised at how full the restaurant was on a Tuesday evening for a country pub which isn't even in a hamlet! They must be doing something right."
"Pub undergoing renovations so rooms with packed breakfast only (no problem for us). Spacious bedroom with good mattress, pillows and lovely linen. Particularly appreciated having the plug-in fan during the heatwave (thoughtful touch. Good bathroom (looked newly appointed) with great shower, window you could open a lot or a little, long shelf for toiletries (often missing then a soap bag ends up on top of the loo, but not here). There was a rail below the decent sized basin for hand towel...
