"Lovely place to stay as we travelled to Wales. Exactly what we were looking for!"

"Stayed here after attending an open day at the University of Bristol. Pros: Super friendly and helpful staff, lovely room and amenities, electrics are only active if you insert your room card in a slot near the door which is eco friendly. Nice, tidy and spacious room. Pretty clean and decent price. The fact you can bring pets too (for an additional fee) is amazing too since not many hotels do so. Wifi was easy to connect to and pretty decent. Lots of choices for breakfast options and was delicious! There is a pub right outside the hotel for more food/drink/social options. There is a shopping and restaurant area 5 mins walk from the hotel. Cons: Was expecting some sort of mini fridge for our own drinks like iced coffees and snacks but no. Please specify at booking if you need a non-smoker room due to asthma or COPD etc. otherwise you will be designated a smoker room. I would recommend taking thicker loo roll."

"Fifth time staying at the Coldra Court and finally recognised as a Gold member with a room upgrade. McKenzie on reception was superb - upgraded me, welcome gift and ensured a robe was in my room. Hotel is immaculately clean and room has very tasteful interior design with muted tones. Elemis toiletries are wonderful. Leisure facilities great, if a little old. Pool nice and clean. Adult only times should be extended. Breakfast was ok but fried food very greasy. Location not ideal on a business park, but Beefeater and McDonlads opposite. Parking charge is now £10 per night. "

"A one night stop over which suited us fine. A bonus having a nice pub in the same car park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Seemed a bit odd that in such a big “ disabled” room the bed was a very small double."
