Perfect for a visit to Weymouth, good breakfast, everything well organised, very clean, good facilities. At the quieter end of the front which is a benefit, but close enough to walk into town, thoroughly enjoyed.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at at johns guest house, location was perfect, there was parking on the property which i imagine is quiet rare in the area, our room was lovely (room 3) bed was so comfortable and we slept like babies the room is also very clean and smelt lovely, there is a fridge in the room and we were given fresh milk for our tea which was great. Breakfast was absolutely lovely all cooked fresh and piping hot. St John’s guesthouse will definitely be our first choice when we return to Weymouth

The hosts were kindest couple we never met before. The breakfast was nicely prepared and served to your requirement. Their service is second to none. This is not a modern guest house. Our room is small, but it is clean and tidy. As we spent most time away, small room is not a problem. The location was convenient to the beach, bus stops, and some very good restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at St Johns very much, lovely clean property, friendly owners, had lots of conversations with Andy over breakfast every morning, whilst eating the very tasty breakfast cooked by Lynn, perfect location at the end of Esplanade so away from the hustle and bustle so had a peaceful nights sleep ,would definitely recommend and visit again.

Lynn and Andy were very friendly and helpful. Very beautiful house and they made us feel like we are at home :) Breakfast was fantastic. Room was nice with very comfy bed & pillows. A very pleasant stay. Friendly & welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and the room very clean. Ideal location, just 5 minutes walk from the beach. We will definitely return, and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting the Weymouth area.

Outstanding guest house

Had a very warm welcome. Room was decorated nicely and very clean was compact but met all our needs. We really liked having our own mini fridge and fresh milk on hand. Breakfast was very very nice. Good quality and plenty of it. The hosts were very friendly and genuine and had plenty of time to have a chat as we were checking out they even recommended an excellent fish and chip shop which we visited twice. Would highly recommend this guest house.

First Class Guest House

Fabulous 3 night stay, lovely top floor room with a view of St John's church with a fabulous breakfast greeting us in the morning. Very clean throughout. Lynne and Andy were such welcoming hosts. Will definitely stay again and without a doubt, would recommend to everyone. We were very lucky with our parking and found a space right outside the guest house.

Highly recommended

A lovely place to stay. Andy and Lynne are brilliant hosts. Guest house is lovely and clean. Breakfast is ordered through an online system the days before which is a great idea. Andy was really helpful with any advice or guidance needed. Parking is either in the car park at the rear or free on street parking. Guest house is ideally located within Weymouth and is only a 8-10 min walk from the town centre. Would highly recommend this place to anybody. You won’t be disappointed.
