"Room was clean my complaint is the bathroom… toilet paper was very low upon arrival so by morning we were out. The towels were very small only had 1 per person. I believe the towels we had were the same ones that are used for swimming pool. Room wasn’t refreshed with clean towels, coffee, or empty the garbage. I think hotel was under staffed for the amount of guests and supplies need to be ordered to accommodate for basic needs. I also heard many guests complain about blankets or lack of they were cold!!!"

"I had never stayed at a Cobblestone hotel prior to this, and I was pleasantly surprised. It met my expectations in every way, including cleanliness, ease of parking, nice open lobby/breakfast room and pleasant staff. Becky checked me in and gave me great information for our stay in Fort Madison. This hotel has a washer, dryer facility, coffee and cookies in the lobby which are nice small touches. Their accessible bathrooms were very good. The room size is very average, but it has all the amenities like a fridge, microwave, desk, and coffee maker. If I was in the area again, I would definitely stay here."

"When we checked in we were given a room that was not fully clean. There was a used washcloth and hair in the tub. We were moved next door to a clean, but run down room. The hallway was filthy when we checked in at 7pm and had the same filth at 2pm. We always stay here when we visit Quincy, which is multiple times per year. It’s the easiest since we travel with our dog. However, we will likely be looking elsewhere. It seems that upkeep is not important. This was such a great hotel and I’m sad to see its standards fail. "

"Did not have breakfast. Parking was fine. Did NOT like the loud music blaring at us at the front entrance. Made it difficult to talk with people who picked us up and dropped later dropped us off. Did not like the same loud music inside the front entrance. When you do not know your customers' music preferences, no music would be better."

"The breakfast was great and the staff were fantastic. The pool was a bit cool and the hot tub has some significant issues and didn’t work, but a great stay!"

"We were able to find a parking place right in front of the hotel. There weren’t very many places to shop at, probably because it was not the right time of the year. We came during our school spring break. That was April 3 time. I just wish there were more places to eat around the area. Or maybe a breakfast being served downstairs in the barbecue place. It was a cute hotel."
