From the moment we were met by a very pleasant and helpful Aksel at the front desk, to our beautiful room on the 8th floor, to the outstanding breakfast service, both food and staff, and the most delightful and caring housekeeping staff member throughout our week, we enjoyed the hotel and all of the staff immensely. "Location is outstanding - close to the harbour between the Central station and the Opera House. Easy walk to the main museums and shopping area and well served by public transport. It also boasts an amazing buffet breakfast included in the price - a really valuable extra in a city with such high restaurant prices. The single room was small, but well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and windows which open for fresh air. "
