"An excellent & amazing property. Everything in the room was clean & fresh, though I will note it seems to be a newer hotel so maybe time will show some wear eventually. The staff are also very kind & attentive—they even provide a personal assistant to help you with anything you need during your stay. Granted this could be a pro or con depending on your personality & culture—some more independent-minded travelers may find it a bit overwhelming/smothering, but for us it was very helpful & Atabek...

"Reviews of this hotel are all over the place and some complaints are truthful but completely overstated while some are just outlandish. This building is architecturally significant, the very most prized location in the city, and the cost is comparatively low, it's accessible to all comers. So the guests might be like anyone traveling in an airport, but this hotel is in fact very special and I am in total agreement with the Hotel Uzbekistan. If you're in agreement with your surroundings, you'll have few complaints, and that says something about what you value."

"Returning to Tashkent after many years was an emotional journey filled with childhood memories, and choosing the InterContinental Tashkent made the experience even more special. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the exceptional service. The staff warmly welcomed me, opened the taxi door, and always offered assistance with luggage. Those small touches made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and elegant. My room was tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. I especially loved the heated bathroom floors, which added an extra level of comfort. The shower was excellent, the bed was firm and comfortable, and the high-quality linens ensured a great night's sleep. Fresh water and coffee were replenished daily, and housekeeping did an outstanding job throughout my 9-night stay. The breakfast was one of the highlights. The buffet offered an impressive variety of fresh and delicious options, with something for every taste. What stood out most was the staff's attention to detail. After just a few days, they remembered my tea preference and greeted me with, "Would you like your usual tea?" Such a simple gesture made me feel at home. A special thank you to Dilobar for her delicious cottage cheese pancakes, which became my favorite breakfast treat. If breakfast was included in your room rate, the $22 cost is absolutely worth it. The quality, variety, and service are exceptional InterContinental Tashkent is must stay."

"We had a wonderful stay. The staff were excellent—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The spa facilities were fantastic, and we especially loved the Finnish sauna, Turkish hammam, and the pool area. The breakfast was delicious with a beautiful view, making each morning very enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located in the old part of the city. It takes only about 5 minutes by car to reach Labi Hovuz, from where you can easily explore the main sightseeing attractions on foot. As an added bonus, we were allowed to check in a little earlier than the agreed time, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended."
