Ancient madrasas and trading domes surround Lyabi-Hauz plaza where locals gather under mulberry trees for tea. Climb the Ark fortress tower for city views, then bargain for silk scarves in covered bazaars dating to the Silk Road.
Loved this hotel. Great air con, delicious, varied and filling breakfast and close to the sights of Bukhara. Staff could not have been any more helpful.

Great hotel within a couple of minutes from historical sites. Local handicraft markets are close by.
The first day's breakfast was a set breakfast. The second and third days' were buffet breakfasts (which I preferred as I didn't want to waste food).
Dinner service was available, but plenty of restaurants close by.
The owner's sons were very helpful as they spoke great English.
We had to check out early for the return train, 2AM, and the hosts were able to help with Yandex/taxi.

Hotel was in a great location, really close to the main old town attractions, restaurants and shops. Staff were lovely and really helpful, and breakfast was great. Rooms were all a good size with big beds, aircon, and private bathrooms. We did use the laundry service but found the clothes didn’t come back super clean (smelt clean but still some marks). The communal courtyard area was a real treat, too!

Lovely staff and accommodation that's several levels above the competition. Amazing, comfy beds, fabulous breakfast and coffee and a nice little spa too. So many amazing things to see and do in Uzbekistan so it's nice to find a little calming oasis like this in which to relax and unwind. Thank you to a fantastic team at reception and beyond 👍

Umid was an absolutely impeccable host. He made us feel right at home and was incredibly helpful. The hotel is very centrally located and the rooms well decorated and comfortable. Best breakfast in Uzbekistan!

Excellent location in historic area. Easy to walk to everything - sights, restaurants etc. WiFi worked well in our room. Good Pool and garden area to relax by the pool.
TV with some English channels. Kettle with tea bags. Breakfast okay not great.

Really loved this hotel! The people are charming and any language barriers easily overcome with reception’s smart phone. Lovely, quiet and spacious room with high ceilings, spotlessly clean and to top it all the best breakfasts we had in Uzbekistan- fresh fruit, different sweet and savoury pastries each day, eggs cooked to order and fresh bread with gorgeous jam, particularly the apricot! The ark is just round the corner, and from there it’s a very pleasant stroll to all the wonderful sights...

Near main sites. One of previous reviews mentions Managers English but more than adequate to deal with our matters. Another review he sorted out train trip. We arranged good taxi transfer to Samarkand. Good breakfast. Liked restaurant/bar Amulet on main Street to the right, old barn off square also good esp food.

Excellent . Brilliant staff , complementary transfer from and back to the railway station and a bag of washing done for free too .
Excellent location 5 minutes walk at the most to the heart of historic Bukhara , 10 minutes to the Ark . It was a small basic ground floor room (103) but it had a comfy bed , great shower and reliable wifi in a quiet location . Decent breakfast included with egg, samosa, fruit, cheese and cake .
