Travelled solo and felt safe while there. I did a spa treatment and it was wonderful. The food is delicious. I stayed on the Una Vida side and did have a few regrets when I saw the Bardo side would definitely stay at this place again.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Una Vida, my only criticism is that with the Luxury House being right next to the entrance, some staff tend to congregate outside of the windows/paremeter (house is nearly all glass) which makes it less secluded than the other rooms. Other than that perfect and an easy bike ride to the market!
This was a perfect place to reconnect with your special person in your life. Access to two other properties, along with pools was a completed our stay.
Beautiful pool and rooms. Excellent customer service.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Staff were amazing, so attentive and helped to book a few trips which turned out to be highlights of our holiday. The room was spotless and throughly cleaned every day, couldn’t fault it. It was a 20 min walk from centre but we didn’t mind that, as it felt like a quiet oasis away from the noise. Having access to Bardo and Milam pools was an added bonus as both had better pools and food than Una Vida (but Una Vida is half the price!) - would 100% recommend to anyone.
Staff were amazing, pool was great, the room was really cute. AC and the ceiling fan combo were great after spending time outdoor in the sun. We did have issue with AC dripping water but when I told the concierge Enrique, he took care of it right away and we had no issue afterwards. However the breakfast was too salty we skipped the other day even when it was included in our bill. (I would only recommend the pancakes!) The water pressure was really bad it was just dripping. It was little annoying but with the service we’ve gotten from the staff, this is tolerable.
We absolutely love Una Vida—so much so that we’ve spent our last two March Break vacations here. It’s a beautiful, tranquil oasis on the edge of town, with a stunning property and exceptional staff.
My wife especially enjoyed the daily morning yoga, while our son looked forward to relaxing by the pool in the evenings. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between peaceful retreat and easy access to everything Tulum has to offer.
The staff truly make the experience. They are incredibly helpful—whether it’s booking beach clubs, recommending restaurants, or simply making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
A great added bonus is access to their two sister properties (both adults-only), which guests can also enjoy.
We highly recommend Una Vida and look forward to returning again.
Love the ambiance and pools/ decor - the ability to use shared amenities with hotel bardo is a plus as well.
The breakfast is always amazing, I have been to una vida a few times and will be back.
I had an amazing stay wished I could stay there longer, will definitely be back highly recommend this place, can’t go wrong for the price. Among staff wished I remembered all the names one name that stood out Nico, gave an amazing tour of the property, very nice and private 5 Stars
Beautiful serene oasis with kind, friendly and helpful staff. Guadalupe and Shiomara were just great and assisted us with sites to see in the area, restaurants and currency exchange sites. We liked the Ananda restaurant as well and access to the sister Hotel Bardo and the yoga and Qi Gong classes was much appreciated. Our couples massage and complimentary wine after was just what we needed to finish our stay. Absolutely wonderful place and experience!
I just love everything about this hotel. The service , decoration, location. It’s my third time staying in this hotel and I stayed at 6 other resorts in tulum but this is the best for the buck. Highly recommended
The two receptionist were so helpful planning my days out while I was there. Idk what I would’ve done without them. Everything was beautiful as well as the people.
The location is convenient. There’s a local food court area close and it was great. I really didn’t feel welcomed during my stay. The check in procedures and policies were overwhelming. The daily security deposit instead of a flat rate is a lot and having to sign your name exactly like your passport definitely threw me off. Beside that nice place.
This hotel is absolutely amazing, the property is stunning, everywhere you turned was nice to look at. Our room had a beauty private plunge pool and the main pool was even better. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the property was clean at all times. I would definitely come back here and I recommend it for anyone that loves a nature type of vibe. 10/10
We had a fantastic stay at Una Vida! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere and decor were beautifully done, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Our room was spacious and spotless, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Additionally, the location was excellent, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance.
The only minor downside was that the bed was a bit stiff for our liking, but overall, it didn’t take away from our wonderful experience. We would definitely stay here again!
