If you are staying in Tulum or playa del carmen, Punta Allen is a great day trip to experience. Punta Allen is the largest village in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve at the end of the Boca Paila peninsula We bought lobsters right off the boat and a local family owned restaurant on the beach cooked them up for us! Doesn't get more fresher than that!
