"The room was clean & the breakfast was very good. But we were in the annexe which is a long walk from the reception. When I asked where the room was, the person at reception just waved vaguely to the right & said ‘it’s down there’. My husband & I are mobile & fine with walking, but we were hauling our suitcases a long way, so be warned of that. There is extra parking there, but we weren’t made aware of that. "Our room was very very hot needs ac ,we was give a large fan but it was very loud. Shower pressure not great. When asked for ice as our water was warm was given minimum which melted very fast, in these hot conditions fridges should be provided. Overall the staff very polite & friendly beautiful building."

"Poor experience unfortunately. We checked in mid afternoon but, as we were attending an event elsewhere, we didn't get to our room until late evening. Firstly, we struggled to find our room as it was not clearly signed. On going into our room, we had no power at all. We had to prop open our door to let enough light in so that we could call somebody. They eventually resolved the issue and we managed to sleep, despite the very hard bed In the morning, the kettle was not working so we couldn't...

"Good spa, nice breakfast with a decent selection. The hotel has easy parking and check in was good. They weren’t able to manage a 30 minute extension on the room which was disappointing. The food and service in the bar was excellent."

Also the ravioli dish was wonderful too. Loved the food. The spa facilities are fantastic and not busy.
