It was nice to have the pantry in the lobby for quick heat and eat breakfast items so we did not have to take time to eat at a restaurant before we started our hiking adventures. Impressed that it was on the honor system. We were given a list of nearby hikes when we checked in."

"I booked the 2-bedroom suite for our group. When we entered the room, it smelled terrible, so we opened all the windows immediately. We soon discovered the smell was coming from the oven; the self-clean cycle was on, so we couldn't use the stove. When the cleaning cycle finished, we opened the oven, and it was still very dirty, with a white buildup all over the door—making the stove unusable for our stay. The dishwasher was full of dishes; we couldn't tell whether they were clean or dirty, so we ran it and then put the dishes away. We were very disappointed to start our stay with a dirty kitchen. I called the front desk to let them know, and nothing was done, not even an apology. He just said OK, I'll pass it on to housekeeping. The hotel staff struggled to be friendly or helpful. Disappointed!"

"This property location was amazing! Beautiful view of the lake. I wouldn't consider the balcony private by any means. There were bars dividing them but if you had the curtains open in your room anyone In the adjoining rooms can look right into your room from their balcony. We are from out of state and apparently the weekend we picked happened to be the busiest weekend to be there. As a result the hotel was completley full. The walls are quite thin so we could hear people in the adjoing rooms through the walls. Not to mention we were on the lower level of the hotel and the footsteps of the people above us were so loud they were actually echoing through our room. We were hoping for a quiet peaceful weekend and instead we felt like we were in a crowded apartment complex. The room was a bit smaller then expected. The shower head was so low i actually had to bend down to wash my hair. I am 5'10 so not overly tall. The staff was wonderful. Very polite and helpful. All that said, we probably won't be staying there again. For the price we paid I was hoping for a bit more."
