"What a beautiful hotel with so much history and character. We stayed in a suite which felt luxurious. Well maintained and clean. Nice big fluffy towels. Only negative for us was the pillows were not firm enough but that's a personal choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Caroline. Thank you. Would recommend and definitely return."

"Excellent stay...beautiful hotel, immaculately maintained...a level above anything else we stayed out during our vacation. Centrally located within easy walking distance of almost anything you'd want to see. Parking was a bit dodgy since the hotel seems to be booked for all sorts of event. The breakfast was ideal. I really want to go back for more."

"Enjoyed our stay here, it’s a good base close to the train station but was very quiet. The room was comfortable with a nice firm bed and the air con was appreciated in this heat wave. We had one breakfast which was good, plenty of choice and everything we had was of great quality. Only negative was the bathroom light is on a sensor and is very very bright if you need to use the bathroom in the night."
